Metaplanet: Net purchase of 1,000 BTC in Q3, total holdings reach 44,000
PANews, October 5 - Japanese listed company Metaplanet announced that it made a net purchase of 1,000 BTC in the third quarter of its fiscal year ending December 2026, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 44,000 BTC as of September 30, 2026. In addition, the company carried out sales and repurchases of Bitcoin during the quarter in order to verify its ability to liquidate its Bitcoin holdings. Specifically, the group sold 10,000 BTC and purchased 11,000 BTC during the period, resulting in a net increase of 1,000 BTC in its Bitcoin holdings.
