Tether Capital Invests in AI Platform AIsa to Enhance Agent Payment Infrastructure

Tether Capital, the independent investment arm of Tether, has announced a strategic investment in AIsa, a platform designed to facilitate access to data, software, and computing services for artificial intelligence agents. AIsa enables developers to connect various AI models, data sources, APIs, and software tools through a unified interface, allowing for payments to be made in either fiat currency or stablecoins.

AIsa has reported significant operational metrics, with over 250,000 AI agents running on its platform and more than 100 million transactions processed cumulatively. The platform provides access to over 5,000 APIs, skills, and models, charging users based on their usage. This flexibility allows enterprises to procure resources on demand while enabling service providers to integrate their offerings into automated workflows.

Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, emphasized the growing need for users to manage service access for AI agents while controlling costs. This investment aligns with Tether's ongoing commitment to enhancing payment infrastructure for AI agents, following previous investments in NEURA Robotics and plans to integrate WDK with QVAC into robotic systems.
