USDC circulation decreased by about 500 million tokens over the past 7 days

PANews reported on October 17 that, according to official data, in the 7 days ending October 15, Circle issued approximately 10.9 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 11.4 billion USDC, with circulation decreasing by about 500 million tokens. The total USDC circulation is 72.5 billion tokens, with reserves of approximately $72.7 billion, including about $35.6 billion in overnight reverse repurchase agreements; about $25.8 billion in Treasury bills with maturities of less than 3 months; about $10.6 billion in deposits at systemically important institutions; and about $600 million in deposits at other banks.
