Valinor Digital Launches Tokenized BDC Fund on Superstate Platform

Valinor Digital has introduced a tokenized fund designed to provide qualified investors with access to a portfolio of publicly traded business development companies (BDCs). The Valinor BDC Exposure Fund, identified by the ticker VBDC, is structured as a series of Superstate Asset Trust on the FundOS platform and is managed by Valinor Digital Capital. This fund allows for daily subscriptions and redemptions, a feature that distinguishes it from traditional private BDCs, which typically have limited redemption windows.

The fund currently holds approximately $4.99 million across 499,157 shares, with a net asset value of $10.007174 per share. The minimum investment required is $100,000, and the management fee is set at 1.25% of the average daily net asset value. Eligibility for investment is restricted to accredited investors who qualify under the Section 3(c)(7) exemption, which allows the fund to operate outside the Investment Company Act.

Connor Dougherty, CEO of Valinor, highlighted the demand for a product that merges real-economy yield with daily liquidity, stating that VBDC is designed to fulfill this need. The fund's structure allows listed securities to serve as an intermediary between investors and the loans made to privately held companies, with its liquidity linked to the secondary markets for public BDCs.

VBDC is the fourth tokenized fund launched on the Superstate platform, which has now surpassed $1 billion in total fund assets. The introduction of this fund marks Valinor's first offering available for broad subscription, following a $25 million seed round led by Castle Island Ventures earlier this year.
