Valour Launches Europe's First Zcash ETP with Lower Fees than 21Shares

Valour Inc., the exchange-traded product (ETP) arm of DeFi Technologies, has launched Europe's first Zcash ETP on Sweden's Spotlight Stock Market on September 29, 2026. This new product, priced in Swedish kronor, offers investors regulated exposure to Zcash's privacy features with an annual management fee of 1.9%.

The introduction of Valour's Zcash ETP comes just a week after 21Shares listed a physically backed Zcash ETP on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam on September 22, 2026, which carries a higher annual fee of 2.5%. Jacob Lindberg, Chief Revenue Officer at Valour, noted that the growing interest from both professional and retail investors in Zcash was a key factor driving the launch of their product.

Zcash is known for its cryptographic privacy capabilities, utilizing zk-SNARKs technology to shield transaction details from public view. Valour's new offering adds to its portfolio of over 100 digital asset ETPs, positioning it as one of the largest single-issuer crypto ETP libraries in Europe. Investors are advised to carefully review the mechanics of each product, as the 21Shares ETP is physically backed by Zcash, while Valour's structure provides price exposure without the same direct backing model.
