Webull to Launch Bitcoin Perpetual Futures for US Clients in November 2026
Webull, a retail brokerage listed on Nasdaq under the ticker BULL, has announced plans to offer Bitcoin perpetual futures to over 6 million clients in the United States. This initiative, in partnership with prediction-market operator Kalshi, is set to launch in November 2026, marking a significant step in making cryptocurrency trading more accessible on regulated US platforms.
The trading of these perpetual futures will occur through KalshiEX LLC, an exchange entity regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Webull will provide its extensive client base while Kalshi will offer the regulated trading venue. Initially, the product lineup will include Bitcoin and a selection of other cryptocurrencies, with plans to expand the offerings later in the year, subject to regulatory approvals.
Perpetual futures differ from traditional futures as they do not have an expiration date, allowing traders to maintain positions without the need to roll them forward. Instead, a periodic funding fee ensures that the contract price remains aligned with the underlying asset's spot price. This move follows the CFTC's earlier approval of the first US perpetual futures contracts in 2026, paving the way for Webull's collaboration with Kalshi. The announcement has been positively received in the market, reflecting growing investor confidence in Webull's expanding capabilities in the cryptocurrency sector.
