WSJ: Nearly $5 Billion in Highly Similar Trades Appear in Kalshi's Single ETH Market, Drawing Regulatory Attention

PANews, September 23 — According to The Wall Street Journal's analysis of public trading data, an Ethereum price prediction market on the prediction market Kalshi has seen nearly 1 million trades of highly similar amounts since August, totaling roughly $5 billion. In recent weeks, more than one-third of trades in the market were executed quickly, with individual trade amounts concentrated around $5,500. This trading pattern has drawn the attention of U.S. federal regulators and traders. Kalshi said the trades are normal market activity. Kalshi's public data does not disclose trader identities, and the report did not conclude that the trades involved any violations.
