Bitcoin Declines Amid Concerns Over US Economic Growth

Bitcoin experienced a significant drop following the release of higher than expected Core Consumer Price Index (CPI) data in the United States. This decline reflects growing market concerns regarding the economic growth outlook, as evidenced by simultaneous decreases in stocks, copper, cryptocurrencies, the US dollar, and bond yields. In contrast, gold has regained its losses, suggesting a shift towards safer assets in a potentially stagflationary environment.

Market analysts are closely monitoring upcoming economic indicators, including the Flash Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, and ongoing US-Iran negotiations, which could serve as catalysts for market movements. If economic data continues to signal deteriorating conditions, it may further dampen risk sentiment, negatively impacting Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market.

On the technical front, Bitcoin has tested support around the $80,000 level multiple times. Buyers are expected to remain active at this support zone, aiming for a rally towards $98,000. Conversely, sellers are poised to capitalize on any break below this support, targeting a decline towards $75,000. Immediate resistance is noted around $84,000, where sellers may re-enter the market if a rebound occurs.
