This collaboration aims to introduce Verified Bitcoin (vBTC), a tokenized version of Bitcoin, to EDX's platform, which is designed exclusively for institutional trading.
The partnership will enable institutional investors to engage in spot trading of vBTC, enhancing the accessibility and efficiency of Bitcoin transactions within the institutional market. EDX Markets combines a trading venue tailored for institutions with a central clearinghouse, providing a secure and regulated environment for digital asset trading.
