Iran's IRGC Navy Engages LPG Tanker in Strait of Hormuz Incident

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy of Iran has reported that it targeted a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without authorization. This incident, which occurred in a strategically significant maritime route, has drawn attention due to the potential implications for regional security and international shipping.

According to Iranian state media, the tanker suffered a massive fire as a result of the engagement. The Strait of Hormuz is a critical chokepoint for global oil shipments, and incidents involving naval forces in this area can escalate tensions between Iran and other nations, particularly those with interests in the Gulf region.
