Gold Prices Experience Modest Recovery Amid Market Volatility

Gold prices have shown a modest recovery during European morning trading, bouncing back to approximately $4,367 after dipping to around $4,335 at the end of Asian trading. This rebound follows a challenging trading session where prices fell below both the 100-hour and 200-hour moving averages, shifting the near-term market sentiment to a more bearish outlook for gold.

Despite the recent downturn, the latest price increase indicates that there is still some buying interest in the market. Minor support has been identified in the $4,313 to $4,317 range, which buyers are keen to maintain. A failure to hold this support level could signal further declines, while a successful break above the 200-hour moving average at $4,368 could provide buyers with an opportunity to regain upward momentum.

In the broader context, the 100-day moving average at $4,381 remains a critical technical level, with resistance noted around the $4,400 to $4,435 range. Attempts to surpass these levels have not yet gained strong traction. Additionally, ongoing tensions between the US and Iran, coupled with mixed signals from US economic data, continue to influence market dynamics and keep gold prices under pressure.
