Goldman Sachs Predicts Rising LNG Prices Amid Gulf Constraints

Goldman Sachs has issued a warning that constraints in Gulf liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies could lead to significant price increases in European and Asian markets. The investment bank forecasts that the Title Transfer Facility (TTF) price in Europe could reach €105 per megawatt-hour, while the Japan Korea Marker (JKM) price in Asia may rise to $35 per million British thermal units.

These projections come as global demand for LNG continues to grow, coupled with supply challenges in the Gulf region. The potential price hikes reflect the ongoing volatility in energy markets, which have been influenced by geopolitical tensions and changing consumption patterns. Investors and market analysts are closely monitoring these developments as they could have far-reaching implications for energy prices worldwide.
