Tradeweb to Acquire Trumid for $1.97 Billion

Tradeweb Markets Inc., a prominent player in electronic trading based in the United States, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Trumid Holdings, a financial technology firm specializing in electronic credit trading. The total purchase price for the acquisition is approximately $1.97 billion, which includes $1.75 billion for the business itself and around $220 million for tax assets associated with the deal.

This acquisition is expected to enhance Tradeweb's capabilities in the credit trading space, further solidifying its position as a leader in the electronic trading market.
