U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has stated that the ongoing pressure campaign against Iran, dubbed "Operation Economic Outcast," is yielding significant results. He highlighted that the Iranian rial has reached a record low, indicating severe economic distress in the country.
Bessent also noted that Iran did not load any crude oil onto tankers last month, further demonstrating the impact of U.S. sanctions on its oil exports. He emphasized that the campaign will persist until Iran ceases its support for terrorism and halts its pursuit of nuclear weapons.
