Key FX Option Expiry Levels for September 25 Highlighted
XRP Price Recovery Begins After Dip to $1.45 – Critical Levels Ahead
Key Highlights
- XRP declined 7.32% within a day, stabilizing around $1.50 with market capitalization at $94.53 billion.
- Cumulative spot XRP ETF inflows hit $1.73 billion, with September adding $61.87 million.
- Technical analyst CRYPTOWZRD identifies $1.5300 as critical resistance and $1.4400 as primary support.
- Total XRP holder addresses expanded to 8.15 million from 7.72 million since late March.
- CFTC Chairman Michael Selig announces ongoing development of crypto regulatory framework.
XRP experienced a 7.32% decline during the previous 24-hour period, settling near $1.50 on September 24, 2026. Trading volume for the day reached $7.05 billion, while the token maintained a market capitalization of $94.53 billion.

While prices declined, institutional interest remained strong. Market analyst X Finance Bull highlighted that spot XRP exchange-traded funds accumulated $61.87 million during September, elevating total net inflows to $1.73 billion.
The divergence between declining spot prices and increasing ETF investments has emerged as a recurring theme. Institutional participants continue expanding their positions through spot ETFs despite near-term price weakness.
Technical Analysis Highlights Critical Price Zones
Market analyst CRYPTOWZRD observed that XRP completed a bearish close and currently trades beneath the $1.5300 resistance threshold. According to his analysis, breaking above this barrier could facilitate recovery momentum, whereas continued rejection may intensify volatility.
CRYPTOWZRD identified $1.4400 as the crucial support boundary. Maintaining prices above this threshold could enable stabilization, while a breach might trigger additional selling pressure.
XRP temporarily touched approximately $1.45 during widespread market weakness before purchasing activity lifted it back toward $1.52. The asset showed a 1.39% gain at that particular measurement.
The $1.45 to $1.42 price band now represents the immediate support zone. Successful defense of this area could provide buyers opportunity to challenge the $1.60 resistance level.
Breaking above $1.60 would establish a pathway toward $1.66, a threshold where previous selling emerged. Should the $1.42 floor fail, market participants will monitor $1.36 as the subsequent support target.
XRP continues trading above its significant moving averages. This positioning indicates the overall recovery trajectory remains intact.
Network Growth Continues Steady Expansion
XRP holder addresses expanded to 8.15 million, advancing from approximately 7.72 million recorded in late March. This represents growth of around 430,000 addresses across a six-month timeframe.
This expansion persisted through various price conditions. The data indicates XRP interest transcends short-term speculation tied to daily price movements.
Exchange flow patterns present a nuanced picture. Approximately 524,000 XRP tokens transferred onto trading platforms recently, while roughly 135,000 exited, creating a net inflow of about 389,000 XRP.
Exchange-bound transfers typically signal potential selling pressure. However, this particular inflow remained modest relative to the multi-million token surges observed earlier this year.
Market analyst PharaohX33 published a near-term projection on X, anticipating XRP advancement into the $2.00 to $2.30 corridor before experiencing a retracement. He indicated this correction would likely avoid establishing new lows beneath $1.00, instead forming a higher low followed by sideways consolidation.
PharaohX33 noted the yearly candlestick turns bullish above $1.84, with momentum potentially accelerating once XRP surpasses $1.85. He emphasized the critical challenge will be whether XRP can penetrate the $2.20 region in upcoming weeks.
Regarding regulation, CFTC Chairman Michael Selig stated the commission is leveraging existing authority to construct market infrastructure for digital assets. He confirmed the CFTC is actively developing guidelines for the cryptocurrency sector.
Selig’s statements may influence cryptocurrency exchanges and digital asset companies operating domestically. XRP ETF inflows have accumulated $1.73 billion year-to-date, while the token trades around $1.50 with resistance positioned at $1.5300 and support established at $1.4400.
