Quant (QNT) Surges to Annual Peak Following Major US Banking Partnership
Key Highlights
- QNT surged to approximately $95, marking its strongest yearly performance with a 27% single-day gain.
- The Clearing House selected Quant as its interoperability partner for tokenized deposit infrastructure spanning 25 leading US banks.
- Network rollout is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
- Technical indicators show QNT positioned above its 50, 100, and 200-day EMAs, with RSI reaching 81 in overbought territory.
- Chart analyst Crypto With Gopal identifies a triangle consolidation pattern suggesting potential movement toward $130.
Quant (QNT) achieved its strongest price level of 2026 this week, reaching approximately $95 following an impressive 27% surge within 24 hours. This performance positioned QNT as the leading cryptocurrency gainer during that trading period.

The substantial price movement came after Quant announced its collaboration with The Clearing House, which operates as the backbone payment infrastructure across the United States. The Clearing House processes over $2 trillion in daily transaction volume.
Within this partnership, Quant will function as the critical interoperability infrastructure. Its role involves bridging disparate banking systems to enable seamless movement of tokenized deposits across platforms.
This collaboration encompasses 25 prominent American banking institutions. Quant’s technology will supply the essential orchestration and transaction processing capabilities required for clearing and settling tokenized deposit instruments.
Implementation of this network is targeted for the first half of 2027. This positions Quant as a pivotal infrastructure provider as American financial institutions advance their exploration of tokenized real-world asset frameworks.
Quant Network announced the collaboration through its official X channel, stating: “Quant partners with The Clearing House as an interoperability layer to handle tokenized deposits across 25 major US banks.”
Technical Analysis Reveals Bullish Indicators
QNT currently trades above all three major Exponential Moving Averages—the 50-day at $66.29, 100-day at $65.91, and 200-day at $68.42. This configuration indicates solid foundational support for the current upward trajectory.
The token successfully breached a significant long-term resistance trendline that connected peak levels from July 2025 and May 2026. Price action is now challenging the 127.2% Fibonacci extension marker at $95.55.
Should price action decisively clear this threshold, the next technical target lies at the 161.8% extension level of $110.89. Daily chart analysis shows the Relative Strength Index elevated at 81, indicating overbought market conditions.
The MACD indicator continues trading above its signal line. For downside scenarios, initial support emerges at the $85.00 level, with more substantial support concentrated around $77.52.
During mid-September, QNT experienced a decline into the upper $50 range before establishing a bottom near the $58-$59 zone on September 16. The token subsequently rebounded to the $70-$72 corridor before initiating its latest advance.
Market Activity and Price Projections
Technical analyst Crypto With Gopal, who monitors QNT movements on X, highlighted an emerging triangle consolidation pattern. This formation displays descending peaks and ascending support boundaries, typically indicating compression before a significant directional move.
Based on Crypto With Gopal’s assessment, a decisive break above the triangle’s upper boundary could propel QNT toward the $130 price target. The analyst emphasized that confirmation remains necessary, as pattern formation alone doesn’t ensure upward breakout.
Derivatives market engagement has intensified around QNT. Trading volume expanded 20.90% to reach $39.11 million, while open interest climbed 11.95% to $18.93 million, per CoinGlass tracking data.
This demonstrates growing trader participation in derivatives markets as QNT undergoes consolidation. However, heightened activity independently doesn’t signal whether subsequent price action will trend upward or downward.
QNT’s near-term directional bias will probably hinge on which boundary of the triangle pattern breaks first. Beyond the US market, Quant maintains active tokenization initiatives throughout the UK, European markets, and additional international jurisdictions.
