Alibaba Cloud Launches AI-Native Search Product CleverSee
Alibaba Cloud has officially launched CleverSee, an AI-native search product that integrates its previous IQS information query service. This new service, introduced in mid-September, aims to provide comprehensive search and question-and-answer capabilities tailored for enterprise clients. CleverSee is designed to deliver high-quality, understandable information sources for large models and intelligent agents, enhancing the efficiency of information retrieval.
CleverSee features three main components: networked inquiry, vertical domain inquiry, and enterprise internal search. The networked inquiry component offers advanced capabilities such as intent recognition and multi-turn thinking, allowing users to receive answers with source citations and structured information like weather updates and stock prices. The enterprise internal search function is currently undergoing targeted experience testing, focusing on private data within organizations.
The launch of CleverSee comes at a time when competition in the AI search market is intensifying among Chinese cloud service providers. Just a day prior, Tencent Cloud unveiled its own search product, Yuanbao Search, while ByteDance's Volcano Engine introduced Viking AI Search. These developments highlight a growing trend among domestic cloud vendors to enhance their AI search infrastructure for enterprise applications.
