Animoca Brands and Nuva Labs Launch HOME Token for U.S. Home Equity Access

Animoca Brands and Nuva Labs have introduced the HOME token, a new financial product that allows qualified non-U.S. investors to gain exposure to U.S. home equity lines of credit (HELOC). The token, which operates on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token, requires a minimum investment of 1 USDC and aims to provide an annualized yield of 7%, with monthly resets based on interest income and loan performance.

The HOME token is backed by HELOC pools initiated by Figure Technology Solutions, with the total size of U.S. HELOCs reaching $460 billion as of the second quarter of 2026, according to data from the Federal Reserve. This product features a first-loss tranche that absorbs losses from defaults or forced sales, thereby protecting HOME holders from immediate impacts. Notably, there is no lock-up period for investors, enhancing liquidity.

Nuva Labs CEO Anthony Moro emphasized that traditional securitization methods are often inaccessible to individual investors, as they primarily cater to institutional players. The HOME token aims to bridge this gap by offering a more accessible on-chain structure for an asset class that already has institutional demand. However, the HOME token is exclusively available to qualified non-U.S. users, with restrictions in place for residents of the UK, Hong Kong, China, the British Virgin Islands, and other sanctioned jurisdictions.
