Soda Labs Secures $3 Million in Seed Funding for Privacy Infrastructure Development

Soda Labs, a company specializing in programmable privacy infrastructure, has successfully raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by NextBlock. This financing marks a significant milestone for the company as it continues to innovate in the field of cryptographic privacy solutions.

Over the past two and a half years, Soda Labs has developed a unique privacy solution that integrates garbled circuits with multi-party computation (GC-MPC). This technology utilizes established cryptographic standards, including AES and SHA256, to enhance data privacy.

The privacy engine created by Soda Labs operates on standard cloud CPUs, eliminating the need for specialized hardware. This capability allows applications to implement privacy computing while remaining connected to existing public blockchain infrastructure, broadening the potential use cases for its technology.
