Tether has blacklisted four vaults associated with THORChain, effectively freezing approximately 1.45 million USDT. This action has led to the suspension of THORChain's Tron swaps and liquidity-provider operations, significantly impacting the platform's functionality.
Chad Barraford, co-founder of THORChain, stated that the team was not informed in advance about Tether's decision. The lack of communication has raised concerns within the community regarding the transparency and operational protocols of Tether, a major player in the cryptocurrency market.
