Binance to Delist EPIC and QUICK Tokens on October 28, 2026
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the delisting of two tokens, EPIC and QUICK, effective October 28, 2026. The announcement was made on October 14, 2026, providing holders with a two-week window to make decisions regarding their assets. No public rationale was given for the removal of these tokens, leaving traders without specific reasons for the exchange's decision.
EPIC is the native token of Epic Chain, which underwent a rebranding from Ethernity Chain in early 2025. Binance previously supported this transition with a 1:1 token swap, allowing holders of the former ERN token to convert to EPIC. In contrast, QUICK serves as the governance and utility token for QuickSwap, a decentralized exchange operating on the Polygon network. QUICK had seen adjustments to its margin and futures offerings on Binance earlier in June 2026, but this marks the first global spot delisting announcement for both tokens.
Binance has not provided details regarding liquidity, trading volume, or compliance issues as reasons for the delisting. Additionally, there has been no guidance on withdrawal timelines or how remaining balances will be managed post-delisting. The projects behind EPIC and QUICK have not commented on the decision either. This announcement comes during a period of heightened regulatory scrutiny for Binance, which recently restricted access to 22 tokens for users in Brazil, although EPIC and QUICK were not included in that action.
