Whale transfers 10 million POL to Binance, facing a loss of nearly $400,000 if sold
PANews reported on October 10, according to Arkham monitoring, a whale address 0x5EC previously bought 25 million POL at about $0.1228, investing roughly $3.07 million. The address then used the POL as collateral on Aave, borrowing about $1.4 million for Binance trading. However, as the POL price fell, the address withdrew $1.4 million to repay the loan and retrieved the collateralized POL, then transferred 10 million POL worth about $987,000 to Binance, facing a loss of nearly $400,000 if sold.
