      CPC Central Committee and State Council: Build a National Blockchain Network and a Nationwide Integrated Computing Power Network

      PANews reported on October 10, citing Xinhua News Agency, that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Developing New Quality Productive Forces." The opinions mention promoting the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy. They call for improving systems for determining data property rights ownership, market transactions, rights and interests distribution, and interest protection; implementing pilot and demonstration projects related to data elements; and fully unleashing the potential of data elements. They also call for optimizing the layout, construction, and operation of national data infrastructure, deepening manufacturing digital transformation initiatives, implementing projects such as "East Data, West Computing," intelligent manufacturing, and innovative development of the industrial internet, and building a nationwide integrated computing power network and a national blockchain network. The opinions also call for improving the policy system for promoting digital industrialization and industrial digitalization, and building a digital industry cluster with international competitiveness.
