BNB Standard Corporation Rebrands Following Community Vote

BNB Standard Corporation, formerly known as CEA Industries, has officially rebranded following a community vote conducted on the social media platform X. The name change, effective September 29, 2026, comes after nearly 5,800 votes were cast, with 'BNB Standard' receiving approximately 47% of the total votes in a multi-option poll.

The Nasdaq-listed company has shifted its focus towards the BNB ecosystem, having executed a $500 million private placement in 2025 to establish what it claims is the world's largest corporate BNB treasury, reportedly exceeding 515,000 BNB. Interim President Alex Odagiu described the new name as aspirational, indicating the company's goal to set a benchmark for public companies in managing BNB treasuries with discipline and transparency.

While the community vote was advisory and not binding, the decision to adopt the new name reflects a willingness to engage with stakeholders. It is important to note that the 47% support for 'BNB Standard' represents a plurality rather than a majority, suggesting that more than half of the voters preferred alternative names. The rebranding aligns with the company's strategy to leverage BNB, the native token of the BNB Chain ecosystem, which is closely associated with Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.
