Crypto PAC Fairshake announces support for 32 House representatives, plans to spend over $100 million

PANews reported on October 6, citing Cointelegraph, that the crypto industry political action committee (PAC) Fairshake announced it will support 32 House candidates in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, including 19 Republicans and 13 Democrats, and plans to first invest $1 million each in six of them, totaling $6 million. The six supported candidates include three Democratic representatives Janelle Bynum, Derek Tran and Steven Horsford, as well as three Republican representatives French Hill, Bill Huizenga and Bryan Steil.

Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter said the organization has always been issue-oriented, supporting candidates from both parties who advance the crypto industry and American innovation. It is reported that Fairshake expects to spend more than $100 million in the 2026 election cycle to support House and Senate candidates. Previously, Vetter said the PAC held $122 million in cash at the time, with the goal of building "the largest pro-crypto congressional caucus in American history."

Fairshake said all 32 supported candidates had voted in favor of advancing the Digital Asset Market Structure Act (CLARITY Act), which previously failed to pass a key Senate vote.
