Ethereum's Glamsterdam Upgrade Successfully Activates on Sepolia Testnet
Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade has been successfully activated on the Sepolia testnet, marking a significant milestone for the blockchain network. The upgrade saw the finalization of the first two upgraded epochs, indicating a successful implementation of the planned enhancements.
As part of the upgrade, early blocks on the Sepolia testnet began a gradual increase in gas limits, moving from an initial cap of 60 million toward a target of 200 million. This adjustment is expected to improve transaction efficiency and scalability on the network, which is crucial for supporting future developments in decentralized finance and other applications.
The activation of the Glamsterdam upgrade on Sepolia is a key step in Ethereum's ongoing evolution, as the network continues to implement improvements aimed at enhancing performance and user experience.
