Franklin Templeton Fund Shares Accepted as Collateral on Bybit

Franklin Templeton has announced that its money market fund shares can now be used as collateral for trading on Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange. Eligible clients will have the opportunity to pledge shares issued by Benji in exchange for credit lines in USDT or USDC, while the shares remain in custody and continue to generate yield.

This initiative follows a similar arrangement Franklin Templeton established with Binance earlier in 2026. By allowing fund shares to serve as collateral, the partnership aims to enhance liquidity options for traders on the Bybit platform, integrating traditional finance with the growing cryptocurrency market.
