OKX Secures New Investment Round with Strategic Partners

OKX, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange platform, has welcomed Circle Internet Group, Ripple, and SC Ventures as new investors. The company's founder and CEO, Star, emphasized that this financing is not driven by immediate financial needs but is a strategic decision to align with partners who share a long-term vision in areas such as stablecoins, payments, and next-generation financial infrastructure.

Recent reports indicate that OKX completed a new round of financing, maintaining a valuation of $25 billion. This round saw participation from existing partners and hedge fund Qube Research & Technologies. While the specific amount raised has not been disclosed, it is noted that this financing round extends from a previous round in March 2026, during which the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, invested approximately $200 million at the same valuation.

The involvement of established firms like Circle and Ripple highlights OKX's commitment to enhancing its offerings in the cryptocurrency space, particularly in institutional markets and payment solutions. This strategic move is expected to bolster OKX's position as a leader in the evolving financial landscape.
