WisdomTree Considers Listing ETF on Texas Stock Exchange

WisdomTree, a prominent asset manager based in New York, is reportedly planning to list one of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE). This move, although not yet publicly confirmed by the firm, would mark a significant step for the newly established exchange, which has been operational for less than three months after receiving approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 2025.

The Texas Stock Exchange commenced public trading on July 10, 2026, and has already seen some activity in the ETF sector. The exchange recorded its first primary ETF listings in mid-September 2026, with Texas Capital transferring two funds from NYSE Arca. Additionally, Westwood launched the first new ETF on TXSE, indicating a growing interest in the venue.

WisdomTree's potential listing would introduce a nationally recognized ETF brand to the TXSE, which has primarily featured local funds focused on Texas-centric themes. The exchange has garnered substantial financial backing, raising approximately $430 million from major firms such as BlackRock and JPMorgan, and is also preparing for corporate listings from companies like Texas Capital Bancshares and Energy Transfer.

The implications of WisdomTree's listing could be significant for both the exchange and the broader market. It may attract more national sponsors to consider TXSE for their funds, potentially shifting the competitive landscape away from established exchanges like NYSE and Nasdaq. Observers will be keen to see if WisdomTree formally announces the listing and which specific fund will be involved, as well as the future trajectory of TXSE as it seeks to expand beyond regional offerings.
