Pendle Launches High Yield USDC Vault, Surpassing $15 Million in Deposits Within a Day
Pendle has introduced a new stablecoin product, the High Yield USDC vault on Morpho, which quickly attracted over $15 million in deposits following its launch on October 14, 2026. By October 15, the vault reported approximately $15.76 million in total deposits, highlighting strong interest from users in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.
The vault offers a net annual percentage yield (APY) of 8.31% on USDC, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. This yield is generated through lending USDC to borrowers who provide Pendle Principal Tokens (PTs) as collateral. The vault operates on the Ethereum blockchain and aims to enhance liquidity within Pendle's ecosystem while providing returns to depositors from both borrower interest and incentives in PENDLE tokens.
This new vault differs from Pendle's previous USDC vault on Morpho, which had amassed over $60 million in deposits by mid-September 2026. The High Yield vault allocates funds to a broader range of higher-yield PT collateral markets, with approximately 98.6% of its total value locked (TVL) currently in the PT-reUSD market. The vault also features a 7-day timelock for new user adapters, allowing depositors to assess any changes made by curators before they take effect.
