Strategy Plans Daily Dividends for STRC with 12% Annual Yield Starting November 2026
Strategy has announced a conditional plan to implement daily dividends for its variable rate A series perpetual preferred stock, STRC, from November 1 to November 30, 2026. This initiative aims to maintain an annualized regular dividend rate of 12.00%. However, the execution of this plan is contingent upon the approval of the daily dividend amendment by Strategy shareholders during a special meeting scheduled for October 28, 2026, along with the successful revision of the relevant preferred stock terms.
If approved, the new dividend structure will allow for daily record dates, including weekends and U.S. holidays, with payments made on the next business day following each record date. This change will shift the current bi-monthly dividend mechanism to a more frequent, albeit smaller, payment schedule. Strategy has assured that this adjustment will not alter the annualized dividend rate or the total annual dividend amount for shareholders.
Should the proposed amendment not receive shareholder approval, STRC will continue its existing semi-monthly dividend payments. Following the month of November, the applicable dividend rate for STRC will be determined on a monthly basis, with announcements made by the 15th of the preceding month.
