Lido Finance Hosts October Poolside Event to Discuss Decentralization Initiatives

Lido Finance has scheduled its October 2026 Poolside event, part of a series of community calls aimed at discussing key developments in decentralization. The agenda includes updates on protocol advancements, validator operations, and the introduction of Lido Lend, a proposed decentralized lending marketplace.

A significant highlight of the event will be the launch of the 0x02 CSM, a new staking module that will enhance how Lido manages its validators. Additionally, Lido Lend, which is based on a modified version of the Morpho Blue lending protocol, was proposed earlier in October and is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026.

On October 15, 2026, Lido also enabled direct ETH staking from four Layer 2 networks: Arbitrum, Base, Linea, and Optimism. As of mid-October, Lido holds approximately 8.4 to 9.7 million ETH in staked assets, accounting for about 19 to 21% of the liquid staking market. This event continues Lido's commitment to fostering community engagement and transparency in its operations.
