Arthur Hayes: Bitcoin's quantum risk is known and manageable, not a reason to sell

PANews, October 17 - According to Benzinga's coverage of an interview with The Rollup, BitMEX co-founder and Maelstrom Chief Investment Officer Arthur Hayes believes that quantum computing concerns surrounding Bitcoin's cryptographic mechanisms are overstated, and that the associated risks are known and manageable, not a reason to sell Bitcoin.

Hayes emphasized the importance of wallet address management, mentioning practices such as avoiding address reuse and adopting newer signature types. He does not view quantum risk as a catalyst for panic selling at this time. The above reflects Hayes' personal judgment and does not imply that these practices can eliminate all quantum computing risks.
