Hong Kong Police Arrest Four in Alleged Agarwood Investment Scam

Hong Kong's BBB Group, also known as Hao Hao Hao Group, is under investigation for allegedly running a scam related to investments in the agarwood industry in Malaysia. The company has claimed it would convert over-the-counter (OTC) stocks into cryptocurrency by February 2027, raising suspicions among investors.

The Hong Kong police have received reports from 21 individuals, who collectively invested 14 million Hong Kong dollars in the project. The Commercial Crime Bureau is currently investigating the case for conspiracy to defraud, leading to the arrest of four individuals connected to the group.

Furthermore, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has flagged several investment products associated with the agarwood project, including the 'Malaysia Agarwood Plantation Investment' and 'Agarwood Tree Program,' as suspicious.
