TRON Reports 1.10 Billion Transactions in Q3 2026, Marking 33.7% Year-Over-Year Growth
TRON processed 1.10 billion transactions in the third quarter of 2026, reflecting a significant increase of 33.7% compared to the same period in 2025. This data was released in the TRON DAO's State of TRON Q3 2026 report, published in mid-October. While the year-over-year growth is notable, the transaction count remained relatively stable compared to the previous quarter, indicating a plateau in raw transaction activity.
The report highlighted that TRON's network settled $2.2126 trillion in stablecoin volume during the quarter, averaging $24.05 billion per day, which represents a 5.1% increase from the prior quarter. The combined supply of USDT and USDD also rose to $93.88 billion, marking a 5.5% increase from the previous quarter and a 14.9% rise year-over-year. Additionally, the average monthly active addresses on the network grew by 9.8% to 18 million, contributing to a total of over 408 million accounts and more than 15 billion lifetime transactions by the end of Q3.
Despite the increase in transaction volume, total network fees decreased by 4% to $701.4 million for the quarter, averaging $7.62 million per day. This decline in fees, alongside the growth in settlement volume, is seen as beneficial for users. The total value locked in the TRON ecosystem, including staking, stood at $28.21 billion for the quarter. The launch of the Canary Staked TRX ETF on September 9, 2026, is expected to further influence these figures in the upcoming quarters, as it represents a new investment vehicle within the TRON ecosystem.
