Federal Reserve Rate Hike Odds Drop Significantly Amid Inflation Concerns

The likelihood of a Federal Reserve interest rate hike has plummeted from 55% to just 13%, following comments from Kevin Warsh, a former member of the Federal Reserve Board. Warsh indicated that the central bank is likely to pause any rate increases in October, despite inflation currently standing at 3.7%.

In a related development, the prediction market platform Kalshi has reported that the odds of the Federal Reserve maintaining its current rates have surged to 86%, a significant increase from 50%. This shift reflects growing confidence among investors that the central bank will opt for a pause rather than further tightening monetary policy.
