US Treasury Yields Increase Following Economic Data Release

The yield on the US 10-year Treasury note rose by 3.8 basis points to reach 5.125% following the latest economic data release. This increase reflects market reactions to recent economic indicators that may influence monetary policy decisions.

Similarly, the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond increased by 3.04 basis points, climbing to 5.458%. The rise in yields across these maturities indicates a shift in investor sentiment regarding future interest rates and economic growth prospects.

Additionally, the yield on the 2-year Treasury note saw a smaller increase of 1.45 basis points, bringing it to 4.766%. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year notes now stands at 35.7 basis points, a key indicator of market expectations for economic conditions.
