UBS Maintains Neutral Rating on Apple Amid Concerns Over iPhone Sales

UBS has reiterated its Neutral rating on Apple Inc. and maintained a price target of $296, citing concerns regarding the company's iPhone sales. The investment bank's analysis indicates that indicators of demand for the iPhone are weakening, which could impact future sales performance.

Data from UBS Evidence Lab, which surveyed over 30 markets, reveals that wait times for the iPhone Pro have decreased by four days compared to the previous year, while wait times for the Pro Max have remained largely unchanged. Additionally, weekly wait times have dropped by one day for the Pro model and five days for the Pro Max, suggesting a shift in consumer demand.

The reduction in delivery times, coupled with Apple's strategy of higher pricing, raises concerns about the potential for significant growth in iPhone sales estimates. This situation may lead to a reassessment of Apple's market position as it navigates these challenges.
