UBS Reports Weak Growth for Apple's App Store

UBS has maintained its Neutral rating on Apple Inc. and set a price target of $296, citing ongoing concerns about the company's App Store revenue growth. In September, App Store revenue showed a modest improvement, increasing by 5% year-over-year. However, this follows a disappointing September quarter where revenue growth was only 2% year-over-year, marking the second consecutive quarter of low-single-digit growth.

The performance of the App Store in the United States was particularly concerning, with revenue declining approximately 7% year-over-year. In contrast, international markets experienced a more favorable trend, with revenue growth of about 7%. This disparity highlights the challenges Apple faces in its domestic market as it seeks to bolster its digital services revenue.
