Saudi Aramco Reduces Oil Allocations to European Customers

Saudi Aramco has informed its European customers that they will not receive any crude oil allocations for the upcoming month. This decision comes as a result of ongoing supply disruptions linked to an attack on the East-West pipeline, which has significantly impacted oil deliveries.

The halt in allocations has led to increased replacement buying as European markets seek alternative sources. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is reportedly working to restore approximately half of the pipeline’s capacity within a matter of days. Despite concerns regarding October supply, optimism surrounding the repairs is tempering market reactions, with Brent crude trading around $103.53 and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) near $101.46.
