Apple to pay $250 million to settle Apple Intelligence dispute over iPhone 15/16 series

Apple Inc., filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The plaintiffs allege that Apple made misleading claims in its advertising of Apple Intelligence and Siri features for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the entire iPhone 16 lineup, including failing to deliver the relevant AI features on schedule. The settlement is intended to cover consumers who purchased the above models in the United States between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 for non-resale purposes. Eligible users may claim cash compensation per device, with a base amount of $25 per device and up to $95, depending on the total amount of valid claims and the court's final approval.
