Coinbase Report: BTC Profit-Taking Hits Yearly High, Demand Cools
PANews, October 2 – Coinbase released a report stating that BTC profit-taking has reached its highest level of the year, and market demand has cooled somewhat. On September 22, holders realized profits on 25,700 BTC in a single day, the highest single-day level since 2026. Meanwhile, short-term traders' unrealized profit margin rose to 33%, the highest since December 2024.
At the same time, BTC apparent spot demand decreased by 170,000 BTC over the past 30 days; speculative futures demand growth also fell from 164,000 BTC on September 14 to 16,000 BTC on September 29.
