Eric Trump Highlights AI's Positive Impact on Cryptocurrency at Token2049 Conference

During the Token2049 conference held in Singapore, Eric Trump, co-founder of World Liberty Financial, discussed the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and the cryptocurrency market. He noted that over the past year, there has been a significant shift of funds from cryptocurrencies to the AI sector, which has contributed to a decline in Bitcoin prices. However, Trump expressed optimism, stating that this trend could ultimately benefit the cryptocurrency industry as AI continues to develop.

Trump emphasized that as AI technology advances, it will facilitate transactions that bypass traditional fiat currencies. He provided an example where future AI agents could handle tasks such as booking hotels and arranging travel, directly utilizing cryptocurrency wallets instead of cash. This shift, he argued, would enhance the utility and acceptance of digital assets.

He also mentioned that funds are now returning to the cryptocurrency market, leading to a rise in prices. Trump believes that the rapid progress of AI will positively influence the cryptocurrency sector, urging industry peers to embrace AI advancements for mutual growth.
