Firelight Launches DeFi Coverage Supported by Staked XRP
Firelight has initiated a decentralized finance (DeFi) coverage protocol that is backed by staked XRP, a cryptocurrency associated with the Ripple network. The first coverage positions have been allocated to two vaults within the Sentora platform, which collectively hold 50.2 million XRP staked on the Flare network.
Claims related to the coverage will be adjudicated by a consortium of five firms, which will make decisions based on a three-of-five voting system. The audits for the coverage contracts are expected to be announced shortly, ensuring transparency and security for participants in the protocol.
