Grass Reports $14.5 Million Revenue for First Half of 2026
Grass, a decentralized bandwidth sharing and AI data infrastructure project, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Grass DataCo Ltd., generated approximately $14.5 million in revenue during the first half of 2026. This figure is part of a broader revenue verification process conducted by Regen Financial, which covered the company's financial performance up to the second quarter of 2026.
The verification report indicates that Grass DataCo Ltd. reported a total revenue of about $32.1 million across two periods, with cash receipts verified at approximately $27.6 million. The first period, from March 14, 2025, to December 31, 2025, accounted for around $17.6 million in revenue, while the second period, from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, contributed approximately $14.5 million. A discrepancy of about $4.5 million was noted, attributed to unconfirmed cash receipts related to long-term contracts and a payment cycle of approximately 60 days.
Grass has stated its intention to reinvest most of its revenue back into the business, having pre-purchased computing and storage for 2025. This strategy has reportedly led to a reduction in network operating expenses by over $2.5 million per month, contributing to the company's current profitability. Grass aims to enhance financial transparency as part of its commitment to building trust within its ecosystem, which is centered around token utilization.
