Polymarket Develops In-House Rust Indexing System, Reducing On-Chain Data Latency to Under 28 Seconds
PANews September 16 news, Polymarket announced that its self-developed indexing system based on Rust has been launched, with the core supported by the open-source tool rindexer. The new system can capture on-chain data events up to 14 blocks (approximately 28 seconds) faster than before, and complete indexing within 0-10 milliseconds after block broadcast, significantly accelerating updates to trades, positions, and balances. The official stated that Goldsky will still serve as a data backup solution, but the main indexing infrastructure has been migrated to the self-built system, which is equipped with a reorganization tracking mechanism to reduce data risks caused by chain reorganizations.
