THORChain Plans Upgrade to Address Exploit Ahead of Rujira Restart
THORChain is set to implement an upgrade to its platform, targeting block 28,366,100, which is expected to occur around October 23, 2026. This upgrade, designated as version 3.21, aims to fix a security exploit that has been identified within the system.
In conjunction with the upgrade, Rujira, a lending platform associated with THORChain, plans to request a conditional 24-hour grace period for borrowers facing liquidation. This move is intended to provide additional support to users during the transition and ensure a smoother restart of operations following the exploit resolution.
