US Senate Investigation Finds Iranian Regime Heavily Uses Tether's Stablecoin
PANews reported on September 28, citing The Wall Street Journal, that an investigation by US Senate Democrats found the Iranian regime heavily uses Tether's stablecoin. The Senate report said Tether's USDT has become one of Iran's primary payment methods. The report said that of more than 800 sanctioned crypto wallets, 84% exclusively or primarily use USDT.
