XRP Hitting $10 Could Be Nearer Than You Think: Here’s Why
XRP had an explosive year in 2025, with the asset climbing to a new all-time high after more than seven years. XRP overtook its previous peak and hit $3.65 in July 2025. The price surge came after a settlement in the SEC vs. Ripple lawsuit. The settlement brought substantial regulatory clarity for the asset, which was followed by a surge in investor sentiment. Let’s discuss why XRP hitting $10 could be the next target, which is nearer than you may imagine.
XRP Hitting $10 May Be Nearer Than You Think
2025 did not just bring more regulatory clarity for XRP, it also saw the launch of several XRP ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). ETFs have become a key pillar in the cryptocurrency sector. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) both climbed to new all-time highs in 2025 thanks to increased ETF inflows. ETFs allow financial institutions to get crypto exposure without actually owning the underlying asset. XRP could see a surge in ETF inflows once the market improves. Such a development could lead to a massive price spike.
Additionally, XRP seems to be following Bitcoin’s (BTC) trajectory. BTC has famously followed the four-year rule, i.e., the asset has climbed to a new peak every four years; 2017, 2021, and 2025. Many anticipate BTC to continue following its trend over the coming years. Going by that logic, BTC could hit a new peak in 2029. XRP may also display a similar pattern, given that the asset has settled its legal woes. Many say Bitcoin could hit the $500,000 mark during the next bull run. BTC hitting $500,000 could easily push XRP to the $10 mark. Moreover, the rally for a 2029 peak could start sometime in late 2026, or early 2027. Therefore, we could see XRP climb to a new all-time high much sooner than 2029.
