Crude Oil Futures Rise Amid Middle East Tensions

Crude oil futures closed at $94.14 per barrel, marking an increase of $0.40 or 0.43%. The rise in prices is attributed to heightened tensions in the Middle East, which have raised concerns over potential disruptions to oil supply. Reports indicate that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently discussed military action against Iran with U.S. President Donald Trump, with Netanyahu expressing a desire to act before upcoming elections. Trump advised preparation but did not commit to supporting an attack.

In addition to the situation involving Israel and Iran, tensions in Yemen have also contributed to the market's volatility. The Saudi-led coalition has conducted strikes on oil facilities in Sanaa, which are reportedly used by the Houthi movement to facilitate attacks. Yemen's deputy defense minister described the conflict as being open on all fronts, while Trump warned the Houthis of consequences for their actions, asserting that he would remain in office after the elections.

Traders are closely monitoring these developments, as they pose risks to energy supplies and critical shipping routes. Technical analysis showed that buyers managed to defend key support levels early in the trading session, with prices rebounding after testing a low of $91.70. The session high reached $94.70 before settling slightly lower, indicating ongoing market dynamics that could influence future trading.
